DigitalLife U2AUDIO7-1C USB-Sound-Interface-Box review

This is an external sound card that connects via USB C to your device.

In terms of price you can compare this to 7.1 sound card you might add to a PC, and by that metric given the additional features you get a reasonable package.

In the box you get a USB B to c cable, along with a manual and of course the box itself.

In terms of look and feel it's mixed, the dark plastic looks okay, but the "chrome" effect plastic buttons are less succesful, but are at least easy to see.
These allow you to independently control volume and muting of the device.
There are LEDs when connected and powered up.

In terms of output you get the usual sound card option of S/PDIF out, but also an in - which is useful.
The other ports are standard 3.5mm audio jack ports, and there are six to one side, that serve the 7.1 channels, and to narrow side are Right & Left microphone inputs. With the Left serving as the mono input for a mono microphone.

This was a plug and play device, it also worked into a USB A port with a suitable adaptor (and I imagine a matching B to A cord).

As a means to leverage and or improve on existing hardware, by providing improved sound along with additional ports this represents a useful device.
